Statement 1 – CORRECT: Wular Lake is the 2nd largest fresh-water lake of Asia, situated on the foothills of Haramuk Mountain. Main source of water for Wular Lake is River Jhelum.
Statement 2 – INCORRECT: Kolleru Lake is a natural eutrophic lake, situated between the two major river basins of the Godavari and the Krishna, fed by two seasonal rivers Budameru and Tamleru and a number of drains and channels. Krishna River does not directly feed it.
Statement 3 – INCORRECT: Kanwar jheel is a residual oxbow lake, formed due to meandering of Burhi Gandak river, a tributary of Ganga — not the Gandak River itself.
